Artist's Comments

This is the DA Print version of my original Desert Circles image. Again straight Bryce, with post-processing for the border only. But making the 6Kx4K was surprisingly hard. The new aspect ratio had me playing with cloud heights and moving objects. The massive resolution had me fiddling with my terrains because otherwise they looked horrible. It took longer to make the big version than to make the original! Then there was the rendering time....

UPDATE: moved it to the 3D section.

Gorgeous, I especially like the skyline and the random rock formation out in the background. Reminds me of Arizona. Man, I miss Arizona.

Beautiful work. :o (Eek)

Glad someone else appreciates the efforts of making a rendered piece into a print. I remember this scene well and liked it then as much as now, very realistic feel. I have been looking around a lot more since I saw that, and I still think now that is way out in front as far as realistic bryce terrains go. Well done on all counts.

My mind is my asset, my experience is my qualification
and I will rent my mind should the project be suitably absurd.

I can see you have been working with Bryce for a while.
The formations are nicely intergreated into the dessert floor.
Nice atmosphere also.
